| This scheme included the redevelopment
of a large garage site beside the river Dart into twenty-three
apartments together with the refurbishment of the old
Toll House beside the bridge. Initial enabling works
included culverting the existing leat. The ground floor
is a large covered parking area with a reinforced concrete
transfer deck above. The first floor terrace to the rear
of the flats is cantilevered over a tidal stream flowing
into the Dart. The main superstructure is load-bearing
masonry and precast concrete floors. |
